Hello
I’m Josephine. I am the hands behind quiet piles of yarn, soft colours, and the occasional oversized bunny. I create handmade treasures for little ones, for grown-ups who cherish thoughtful objects, and for pets who are loved like family. What began as a gentle creative escape has slowly unfolded into a small universe of texture, comfort and tender whimsy. Every piece is made slowly and intentionally, with an enormous amount of care, from plushies with personality to crochet bags, cosy dog knits, and tiny gifts meant to bring joy into ordinary days.
How It All Began
I have always been endlessly drawn to texture. Fashion, food, paintings, anything soft or layered or quietly intriguing has always caught my eye. It still makes me smile that I only discovered crochet at the very end of 2024. It started simply. I wanted to make small gifts for friends welcoming new babies. I saw a crocheted turtle on Pinterest and, in classic “how hard can it be?” fashion, decided to try. To my surprise, it worked. With that first tiny turtle, something clicked. Crochet held everything I loved: colour, detail, softness, rhythm, imagination. I became completely and happily absorbed. What began as a handful of baby gifts bloomed into an ever-growing creative world, and here we are.
My Philosophy
At the heart of everything I make is a quiet wish. I want my work to feel warm, intentional, and softly magical, tiny heirloom treasures that spark a feeling more than they ask for attention. I believe in slow craftsmanship, in the poetry of small details, and in the tender beauty of handmade pieces that carry warmth from the moment they are held. I love objects with personality and texture, pieces that feel as though they belong in a storybook or a cosy memory. Everything I create is made gently, stitch by stitch, with the hope that it adds a little softness to someone’s everyday life.
A Small Handmade Universe
This space is home to plushies with charm and character, bags that blend practicality and quiet elegance, cosy accessories and sweaters for beloved pets, small treasures for small humans, and soft illustrations and watercolours. Nothing is rushed. Nothing is mass produced. Each piece is created slowly and thoughtfully by myself, meant to be given, cherished, and passed down.
Looking Forward
What began as a spontaneous creative experiment has become something I’m excited to grow thoughtfully. I’m still exploring, still learning what resonates, still letting this little world evolve naturally with me. Looking ahead, I want to refine my collections, try new designs, take on commissions, and continue creating pieces that feel joyful, tactile and meaningful. Whether it’s a plushie, a dog sweater, an illustration or a vintage inspired bag, my goal is always the same: to make something that feels special. This is only the beginning and I can’t wait to see where it leads and who these handmade pieces find along the way.
