A cosy, whimsical illustration inspired by handmade crochet and vintage childhood magic.
Born from the same tender world as the crochet plushies I love making for the little ones in my life, this illustration is part of my soft, whimsical baby series (see last image for the full collection).
This bunny on a classic red Vespa came to life on a late-night drawing session in Procreate, warm tea beside me, quiet music playing, and that comforting feeling of crafting something gentle and timeless.
I wanted to capture the charm of vintage storybooks:
soft textures, imperfect hand-drawn lines, muted colours with little joyful bursts, and a sense of gentle adventure.
It’s a piece that feels both nostalgic and playful: perfect for nurseries, playrooms, kids’ corners, or as a sweet, thoughtful gift for new parents.
